Once you color you cute piggie and make this beautiful blended background, the real fun begins! (Sentiment is custom printed on a panel I printed just for this card!)

I used a star punch to add some fun to the giant balloon that comes with this Gerda Steiner Designs You Lift Me Up stamp set. BEFORE you do anything else, line it up with the background and put a pencil mark on the spots where you want the lights through the holes in the balloon.

I backed the balloon with the Pear Blossom Press Vellum to diffuse the lights coming through the holes. I cut out the balloon shape from the white panel because I wanted a softer glow in the whole star (so the light is further away from my vellum), not just a pin point look. (For a pin point light, you can just poke a hole for the light to come through and sit directly behind the velum.) The balloon shape is slightly smaller than the image, so the image is glued around the edge of the hole.

Yes! It really is that simple! I love these Pear Blossom Press EZ Lights because it really is EASY to light up any card!
