Greetings! Let’s have some fun with products from Pear Blossom Press today! This card uses the super easy Pear Blossom Press One Light and I’m showcasing the adorable Gerda Steiner Penguin with Heart stamp on their blog today as well.

First I colored this cute Penguin with Heart with my OLO Markers. I made two just in case I had an oops 😉

Next I used the Lawn Fawn Lots of Hearts Background Stencils with Distress Oxide Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry) on Kraft. I later decided to cut out a heart shape using the larger Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables and ink blended the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

To get the One Light lined up right, I used my Misti to line up the stamp where I wanted the Penguin to go, then partially stamped the heart on the heart die cut. I trimmed out the heart hole to have a nice bright lit up heart in the penguin’s hands.

I made a light purple card base to match my penguin and then cut out a panel of the white and gold paper from the Lawn Fawn Spiffier Speckles 6×6 paper pack using the frame die from Mama Elephant’s Mod Heart Creative Cuts.

To add the light, I lined up the light centered with the heart hole and having the button in the bottom left of the heart die cut. I surrounded the light assembly on the heart die cut with Pear Blossom Press World’s Greatest Foam Tape. This stuff is amazing!

I was dumb haha and forgot to stamp my “press here” on the heart die cut before adding all the foam tape so I decided to stamp it on a white strip and make a little flag. I used the Pear Blossom Press Stamp and Die Set.

To top it all off, I die cut “I” and “U” from Mama Elephant’s Whimsy Alphas Creative Cuts in gold glitter with a black offset shadow layer.

What do you think?

The One Lights come in several package sizes:
